Aerial OptiRack
The Moore OptiRack is designed to allow storage of fiber optic cable on the strand. The lightweight aluminum OptiRack ensures that the minimum bend radius is not compromised during installation and over the life of the system. The Moore OptiRack mounts on the strand with offset mounting brackets. OptiRacks are installed horizontally and the cable is wrapped in a figure 8 loop between racks.
Five size options provide flexibility to accommodate various cable
manufacturers diameter and bend radius products. Each OptiRack
price includes a pair of OptiRacks and may be ordered with or
without mounting equipment.
Eight slots are provided for tie wrapping the fiber to the rack.
Slots in the side flange enable the tie wrap to firmly hold the
fiber against the OptiRack. Slots in the top of the rack are most
critical to prevent the cable from sliding forward and to maintain
the bend radius in the portion of the loop. The edges of the flange
at the V of the Moore OptiRack are rounded and welded to prevent
damage to the fiber.
